A new showroom display kitchen

New Showroom Kitchen Cape Town

We’re taking you inside our Cape Town showroom to style our new Shaker style display kitchen. The kitchen cabinetry features a shiplap detail and the colour is one of our newer and very popular shades called Springbok Chest.

Shaker Style Display Kitchen

Inspiration From Old English Decor

For this kitchen we were inspired by old English style decor and some antique props. Heading into winter, we wanted to create a cosy and warm space that felt like a sanctuary to escape the cold that is to come. The warm shade of the paint colour and oak shelf feels inviting and we wanted to pair this with similar tones in the props.

First we added a brass hanging rail below the oak shelf - a traditional detail that we absolutely love and a new addition to our offering. It provides the perfect spot for hanging well-used kitchen accessories and tea towels to make them easily accessible.

Antique Props For A Cozy Winter Kitchen

Next we were on the hunt for vases and jars that matched the style we were going for. We found some antique jars at the Peregrine Farm Stall Antique store and filled them with spoons and spatulas. Then we headed to Hermanus to find the remaining vases and jars from a Romantique who had a well curated selection of beautiful vintage pieces. We also featured crockery and a vase from Coricraft's new range of ceramics.

For the soft finishes we added a touch of gingham in the napkins for its vintage charm. Some muted green tones in the plants pulled the style together and we chose a dried bushy plant for low maintenance.

We used our birdcage table to complete the space. With its solid oak top and chamfered edge, offers both durability and a sleek look. Available in a range of custom colors, it complements any kitchen decor.
