Our Manufacturing lead time is 10 weeks from payment of a 50% deposit.

The best way to start the process is to visit our showroom and have a chat, or have a good look through our website and Instagram gallery so that you can have a good idea of what we do. If you like what you see but would like to firstly get an indication of cost, then please chat to us to discuss budget and costs, or proceed to purchase our “Option A: Free Kitchen Estimate” (you’ll need to send us drawings with measurements for this). Once you receive your estimate, if this fits in line with your expectations, you can proceed in more detail and purchase an “Option B” or “Option C” design & quote package. With either of these design packages, we will conduct a site visit to discuss the initial brief and take measurements. Once we complete the initial design & exact quote, you’ll need to pop into our showroom so that you can view the design and discuss the quote. Following this meeting, we can make any final revisions needed and send you the final quote. Once you go ahead and pay a deposit, we’ll schedule your installation for 10 weeks later and send you the final drawings for approval. Here is the link to view our different design & quote options.

Our painted kitchens & furniture are constructed from pine and MDF throughout, while our unpainted kitchens & furniture are made from a combination of solid oak and oak veneer.

No. We will only design your kitchen if you intend to use us to manufacture and install your kitchen. The drawings are only available to view and discuss in our showroom, and will be released to you once your quote is accepted.

We put a lot of time and care into designing your dream kitchen. Once you accept your kitchen quote, we will credit this consultation fee back to your invoice.

Hand painting allows for a more luxurious finish. A hand painted kitchen can also be touched up in case of any future accidental damage, and can also be completely repainted in the future for a new look!

Our kitchen cupboards are hand made in our factory as freestanding units and hand painted inside & out. We do not use any melamine in any of our kitchens and furniture, and offer a true “in-frame” cabinet design. Coupled with these unique features, our team of acclaimed designers are determined to create something quite special in each and every kitchen.

We are based in Cape Town and primarily install kitchens in the Western Cape, however we have also completed many projects nationwide and internationally. If you are outside of the Western Cape and would like us to design & install your kitchen, please get in touch so we can discuss the process and possibilities. Because our kitchen furniture is naturally suited to freestanding applications, it makes installation very straight-forward and so self-installation is also an option for those further away. We courier deliver our kitchens and furniture nationwide.

Yes we have a full showroom showcasing our bespoke kitchens and furniture at 6 Honeywell Road, Retreat, Cape Town.

All of our furniture is bespoke and the sizes are fully customisable. Please email info@hollywoodfurniture.co.za with the item you like, the size required and the delivery address so that we can send you a customised quote. Please bear in mind that our furniture is delivered fully assembled, so you need to ensure that access will be sufficient for the size of the piece.

You certainly can. The cupboard internals are fully customisable with shelving, hanging space or drawers. When you place your order, we will always send you an email with a drawing to approve the internal layout before we start manufacturing. If you would like more hanging space, or more shelving - just let us know. Please note that adding drawers will attract a surcharge.

Yes, however this will attract a surcharge of R740 per item. If you’d like to choose a custom colour, please email the details of what you’d like to purchase, the colour required and your delivery address, so that we can send you a custom quote with this surcharge added. All of our furniture is hand painted.

We use Pronature Natural Light which is a matt, oil based natural varnish.

Our furniture is delivered fully assembled. Some of our very large bedroom cupboards will be split into fully assembled sections that need to be put together, otherwise they would be too heavy/large to carry and fit through doorways.

All of our colours are available to view in our showroom, which is located in Retreat, Cape Town (Southern Suburbs). If you are unable to come into our showroom, please choose a colour from our website and request that we send you some more photos of the colour so that you can get a better idea.

We recommend using a stone top in any area that has frequent exposure to water, such as a bathroom vanity or around a kitchen sink. Oak tops require regular maintenance to remain sealed, especially when strong cleaning products are used regularly. A stone top is a more practical option.

We do not manufacture or install built-in cupboards. All of our furniture is freestanding.

We can deliver our freestanding furniture nationwide. Please add the items you wish to purchase to your online basket and go to checkout. At checkout you can then enter your delivery address which will automatically calculate the shipping cost for you before processing your payment.

The standard stone top option for our vanities is the Teramo 20mm Bianco Riva quartz stone. If you would like us to quote a different stone, please firstly purchase the vanity on our website with “no top”. We can then quote you separately for the top you’d like to add.

No. The vanity prices on our website are for the furniture only, with an optional oak or stone top. Basins and taps can be purchased elsewhere by the client.

Our vanities are suitable for use with a sit-on type basin. Undermount and drop-in basins can also be used, however the vanity and top will need to be customised at a surcharge. Please email info@hollywoodfurniture.co.za for a custom quote in this instance.

Our delivery charge includes cardboard protective wrapping. If you do not pay the delivery fee and want to arrange your own collection, you will need to arrange for protective wrapping too. We will only supply light wrapping (shrink wrap/bubble wrap).
